Experience / Special Interest : After a business career I took early retirement in 2005. Since then I have worked as a counsellor at the Universities of Southampton & Winchester until moving to Kendal in 2009. Most of my experience is with anxiety, depression and coping with change.
My training is to Diploma level in Transactional Analysis, NLP and the solution focussed approach of Ericksonian Psychotherapy. This range of styles enables my approach to be varied for individual clients.
I summarise my approach as relaxed, informal and effective. I tend to pay more attention to the issues my clients are currently having and exploring how life can be different in the future. However many changes require some re-examining and resolving of the past.
