Theoretical Approach : My core training is Psychodynamic with a WPF Diploma in Psychodynamic counselling, however I have studied a number of other models and use these where appropriate in my work.

Details of Therapy Offered : Individual Brief focussed Counselling, Longer term once weekly psychotherapy, Couple Counselling and relationship problems.

Experience / Special Interest : I aim to provide a safe, environment in which it is possible to: explore yourself and your life, gain a better understanding and acceptance of yourself, and make any changes you wish, and are able to make. I offer help with issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, bereavement, self-confidence, relationships problems, bullying and abuse.

I have worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist and Supervisor, for agencies, charities and independently since 1996. My background is in the NHS, in nursing, management and training and development.

Supervision Offered : Individual and Group Supervision

Qualifications : WPF Dip. Psychodynamic Counselling, RGN, UKRCP MBACP (Snr. Accred)

Other Training : Brief Focussed Counselling, Transactional Analysis, Prochaska & Diclemente Cycle of Change, Couple Counselling, Group work and Conflict Resolution.

Clients : Individuals, Couples and Groups

Fees : Individuals £40, Couples £48, Supervision fees by arrangement,
concessions for volunteer counsellors and charities.
