Details of Therapy Offered : 60-minute sessions, ideally at weekly intervals. Short, medium or long term according to needs.
Experience / Special Interest : I have been in private practice since 2013. I have also volunteered for the charity Mind providing low cost effective and professional counselling for a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, traumas including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), abuse, anger-management, dissociation, post psychosis recovery, self-harm and suicidal feelings.
I also provide counselling services for the emergency services. Having worked with and experienced traumas within the emergency services for over 25 years, I have a real understanding of the effects of trauma and PTSD and I can offer the gentle supportive space you need to work with these distressing feelings and memories recognising that everyone is unique and experiences and reacts to trauma differently. I can also offer trauma focussed CBT (TF-CBT) , if we both agree that it could be beneficial.

Qualifications : MBACP (Registered Accredited member), MSc Biomolecular
Organisation (Distinction), PgDiploma Counselling and Psychotherapy
(L7), PgCertificate Evidenced Based Practice (CBT), Diploma in the
practice in Supervision, Certificate in Rewind Therapy, Certificate
in Understanding anxiety & PTSD , Certificate in Effective (Solution
focussed) Brief Therapy, Certificate in Counselling Skills, Online
Counselling Skills Certificate
Other Training : Online counselling available where appropriate.
Clients : Individuals. Self-referrals accepted, or via GP or employer.
Fees : £40 for individuals in person or on line via Skype or Vsee.
Other Services : Group supervision.
There is currently no legislation
governing the use of the term “Counsellor”.
